Join me as we enjoy some classic dinner party dishes. I use these when I entertain and they are excellent for guests! I always get rave reviews when I serve these.
We'll start with one of my favorite salads - by making a hot bacon vinaigrette dressing with scallops. For the main dish, we'll roast a marinated leg of lamb. Of course, no one complains when you have a side of potatoes, cream sauce, and cheese in the french potato casserole Gratin Dauphinois. For dessert, we'll make another French classic - an upside down apple pie. The Tarte Tatin starts with cooking apples, covering with a crust and baking to perfection.
